After completing his studies with a degree in economics at the University of Siegen, Rudiger Goll first worked for Volksbank Siegen as a credit clerk. Later on, he joined Bayerische Vereinsbank as a corporate accounts officer at its new branch in Düsseldorf, where he advised both medium-sized businesses and large international corporate groups.

He then joined Banque Paribas, where he built up the bank’s German and international M&A business and became the sector’s managing director.

In 1991, Rudiger Goll founded Industrie Consult. He is the company’s managing partner and also the co-founder of the international euroMerger Group.

After graduating in biology including IT, Prof. Dr. Schinkothe became a graduate Doctor of Medicine and worked at the oncology clinic of the University of Cologne for several years.

He has been active in the business world for many years, serving as Managing Director of TumorTec GmbH, TIAN Medical Consulting GbR, and Evimed Online GmbH. He has also taught at various universities, both domestically and internationally.

At present, he teaches at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich and heads the Institute of Innovation and Medicine in Munich. Prof. Dr. Schinkothe joined Industrie Consult in 2012 and primarily advises German and international clients in the healthcare and IT sectors.

Rodryk Schönfeld has been working as a partner for Industrie Consult since 2018. The graduate industrial engineer has more than 20 years of professional experience in M&A, strategy consulting, private equity, as well as CFO and managing director roles in medium-sized companies.

After graduating from the Technical University of Braunschweig in 1998, he worked as a management consultant for Roland Berger in Berlin and Warsaw (Competence Center Restructuring & Corporate Finance), UBS Investment Banking, Sal. Oppenheim (M&A), and Mediobanca (M&A).

Before joining Industrie Consult, he was CFO and managing director of a medium-sized company in the sports industry with sales of around €100 million. He had previously acquired this company as an investment director for a family holding headquartered in Hamburg.

After completing a bank apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt am Main, Benjamin Steinkrüger studied business administration at the Universiteit Maastricht, Netherlands, and the University of Newcastle, Australia.

After working for Thyssen Krupp Stahl AG in Duisburg and Sal. Oppenheim jun. & Cie. in Cologne, Benjamin Steinkrüger joined Ziems & Partner in Cologne, a renowned management consultancy specialised in supporting companies in difficult situations, where he worked for five years. As a consultant, he advised medium-sized companies across Germany with a special focus on the automotive supplier industry, the wood-processing industry, the real estate sector, and the media industry.

In 2012, he joined Industrie Consult as a partner and primarily advises medium-sized companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.

Mr. Zhang studied at RWTH Aachen University and majored in automotive engineering. After graduation, he worked for a German automotive supplier both in Germany and China.

He then joined a German automotive consulting company in Shanghai, providing Chinese and German clients with quality, commercial, and technical consulting, as well as commercial due diligence.

Since 2015, Mr. Zhang has been working as a Sino-German M&A expert and has been an exclusive advisor in numerous Sino-German M&A deals across the automotive, machinery, automation, new materials, and medical technology sectors, with project valuations ranging from 50 million to over 1 billion EUR.

Mr. Zhang has gained profound cross-border M&A experience in a wide range of fields. He holds a master’s degree from RWTH Aachen, Germany, and a bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China. Mr. Zhang speaks Chinese, German, and English.

Rainer W. Thomas joined Industrie Consult as a partner in 2001. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in top management positions and is known for his extensive, in-depth knowledge in the management, development, and restructuring of companies. These activities also include the acquisition and divestment of companies and business units. Mr. Thomas understands our clients’ perspective from his own experience in negotiations with strategic and financial investors.

In 2020, Dr. Thomas Hasenpflug joined Industrie Consult as a partner. He advises our clients on national and international transactions, primarily in the medium-sized sector.

Dr. Hasenpflug worked in the metals industry for 25 years before transitioning into consulting. During his tenure in both Germany and the USA, he was responsible for transaction management, financing, and strategic development.

He guided and managed both domestic and international M&A transactions in the mid-market sector, as well as supervised the implementation of transaction projects and restructuring processes. Dr. Hasenpflug has also been involved in research activities within the field of charitable and non-profit organizations.

Detlef Kalthoff has been Senior Partner at Industrie Consult since 2023 and is the contact person for all real estate-related topics. He acquired his broad and impressive expertise over 35 years in the real estate sector.

For more than 20 years, he held managing director positions at well-known players in the industry and advised national as well as international institutional and private investors in the focus areas of portfolio management, investment and transaction management, asset management, and property management.

Mr. Kalthoff studied real estate economics at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and holds a diploma from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (London), of which he is also a member (MRICS).

Boris Lücke has been working for Industrie Consult since 2023. His particular focus is on digital business models, technology, telecommunications, media, and financial services.

During his several years as a managing partner of a management consultancy, he provided comprehensive advice to clients in the areas of digital transformation, business development, and M&A activities.

Before joining Industrie Consult, Boris spent more than 15 years in senior positions at telecommunications groups and as an executive at digital media and marketing companies in Germany.

After studying business administration, Michael Keinert began his professional career with an international auditing company in 1982, during which time he obtained both professional examinations (tax consultant, auditor). After ten years, he moved to a medium-sized, manufacturing pharmaceutical company, where he became Head of Corporate Finance for five years.

He then held the position of commercial managing director in two companies in the telecommunications industry. In 2001, Michael Keinert moved to an international consulting firm, where he worked in the areas of private equity and restructuring.

He then took over the sole management of an internationally active, medium-sized company for high-performance filtration systems. From March 2013 to December 2018, Michael Keinert was a member of the Executive Board of a medium-sized holding company in the energy supply sector, where he was responsible for finance. From mid-2016, he was also appointed Spokesman of the Executive Board.

Michael Keinert has been an independent management consultant since January 2019 and a partner at Industrie Consult since July 2019.
